Raised in Greenville, South Carolina, Dr. Sean Rogan graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a bachelors degree in exercise physiology and human performance.  While at UNC he was the recipient of the Millie Stackhouse Scholarship, the Bartholomew Moore Scholarship, and the University Scholarship for academic achievement.  He was nominated by the University four straight years to be included in Who's Who in America's Colleges and Universities.  While at UNC he coached middle school football and wrestling for two years at Githens Middle School in Durham, North Carolina.  After graduation from UNC, Dr. Rogan coached high school football for two years at Jordan High School in Durham, North Carolina before he matriculated to chiropractic college.

Dr. Rogan received his Doctor of Chiropractic from Cleveland Chiropractic College in Kansas City, Missouri in December of 2002.  While attending Cleveland he was placed on the President's List five times for academic achievement and was nominated three times to be included in Who's Who in America's Colleges and Universities. Dr. Rogan received his 100 hour acupuncture certification while in school.  Dr. Rogan also performed an additional 400 clinic hour externship at Lee's Summit Physicians Group in Lee's Summit, MO.

In November 2002 he passed the national examination by the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners.  Armed with his undergraduate knowledge in exercise physiology, Dr. Rogan passed extensive examination by the National Strength and Conditioning Association to become a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) in February 2004.  Before opening his own practice, Dr. Rogan worked as an associate and clinic director at two busy practices, one in Westwood, KS and one in Blue Springs, MO. 

Dr. Rogan completed Post-graduate training in athletic injuries at Logan Chiropractic College in St. Louis, MO and sat for examination by the American Chiropractic Board of Sports Physicians.  In May 2005 he became a Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician (CCSP) and shares this distinction with only 1606 other chiropractors nationwide, and only five in the Kansas City, MO metro area.  Dr. Rogan is the only chiropractor with this certification in sports injuries practicing in Eastern Jackson County.

Dr. Rogan is a Professional Member of the American College of Sports Medicine,  the Missouri State Chiropractors Association, National Academy of Sports Medicine,  the American Academy of Pain Management, the American Academy of Spine Physicians, and the National Strength and Conditioning Association.  Thorough membership in these powerful organizations Dr. Rogan can keep up-to-date on advancements in the care of sports injuries, spine injuries, and pain management procedures. 

Dr. Rogan prides himself in keeping abreast of advances in training and technique.  He has completed over 800 hours of Post-graduate training.  He is currently taking Post-graduate training in Clinical Orthopedics at National University of Health Sciences in Chicago, Illinois.  Once he has completed this intensive three year course he will be eligible to sit for the board examination.

In his spare time Dr. Rogan enjoys participating in sports and spending time with his wife, Lana, and their three young children, Jaxon, Mayci, and McClain.
